Now showing in Budapest: 'Nights in Rodanthe'

Now showing in Budapest: 'Nights in Rodanthe'
"A woman retreats to the tiny coastal town of Rodanthe, to tend to a friend's inn for the weekend. Almost as soon as she gets to Rodanthe, a major storm is forecast and Dr. Flanner arrives. He is the only guest at the inn and now with the storm closing in, the two turn to each other for comfort.

Movie type: Romantic Drama - This is a romantic tearjerker drama aimed at female audiences, particularly older ones. Fans of the two leads will have much to savor, but it being a tearjerker, this isn't a light entertainment.

Director: George C. Wolfe

Script:  Ann Peacock, John Romano

Starring:Diane Lane (Adrienne Willis), Richard Gere (Dr. Paul Flanner), James Franco (Mark Flanner)

Length: 1 hr. 37 min.

Review:

Linda Cook: “You know,s ometimes a movie is worth it just because of its texture.”

Rich Phippen: ”It ticks the right boxes to be a hit - the tear jerking aspect being key to the word of mouth - but it's a movie that rarely breaks out of it's average confines.”

Heart 106.2: “There is nothing new here - but taking the film on face value, everything that needs to be done right is spot on.”
