Hungarian power utility Demasz, controlled by Electricite de France, posted net income of HUF 1.12 billion in the first quarter of 2004. The result is slightly below average expectations of a HUF 1.2 billion bottom line, but exceeds net income in the base period by 3.6%. Source: Interfax
