BKV to rise prices by 5% from June

Budapest Transportation Rt (BKV) will rise its ticket prices by 5% in June, deputy Budapest mayor Pál Vajda announced yesterday. BKV's ticket prices were previously increased in January by 13%. The previous deputy mayor János Atkári has said that BKV needs a price increase of 10-15% to survive. (NG 3) M.K.
