Analysts see lower current account deficit by end of year

Although Hungary's current account deficit remains persistently high despite improvement in the trade deficit in the first quarter of 2004, analysts were not alarmed by Thursday's announcement of a current account deficit of EUR 588 million in March, versus an expected EUR 433 million.
