Major commercial TV channels RTL Klub and TV2 both reported significantly rising ad revenues in the first four months of this year. RTL Klub's net ad revenue was Ft 9.4 billion, as against TV2's Ft 8 billion over the same four-month period. Both channels increased revenues by approx 15-20%. TV2 however, lost clients who failed to meet their strict deadlines and thus handed hundreds of millions of forints to other advertisers, media director of Initiative Media Kft László Palincsár said.
