Medgyessy: UN needed in Iraq - Hungary based troop decision on US intelligence |
In making its decision to send troops to Iraq, Hungary relied on US intelligence regarding the threat posed by Iraq, prime minister Peter Medgyessy told the Hungarian International Press Association on Tuesday. Hungary's decision to support the war also reflected its commitment to its alliances, he added.
