The Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology of Central European University Budapest seeks candidates for a full-time Assistant Professor. The candidates are expected to be dynamic scholars with teaching experience and a promising publication record in Social and/or Cultural Anthropology. They should have thought critically and reflexively about the current state of Anthropology in relation to other disciplines, and about the implications of current processes of social change - in particular the relationship between globalization and the state - for the future development of teaching and research in the field.
