"The father of Ophelie Bretnacher, the French student who disappeared in Budapest in late 2008 and whose body was found in the Danube two months later, filed a report at the Paris prosecutor's office on Wednesday on suspicion of kidnap and murder, French dailies reported on Wednesday.Bretnacher said criminal proceedings have been conducted for more than a year but opined that “nothing has happened. It is our impression that the investigation has made no progress since the body was found. In order for us to access the documents and see the investigation restarted, there was no other solution than to file a criminal report,” he said."
