Talking of the Music Academy, for your interest this week Török András has a few insights about that cultural institution to share.

''The Liszt Music Academy is the most important venue of the prodigiously lively classical music scene in Budapest. (VI. Liszt Ferenc tér 8, at Király utca.) It's in a landmark art nouveau block with a big concert hall, worth visiting even on the occasion of a minor musical event. Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály used to teach upstairs.''
