I was drawn into a world of shine, chrome and vibrant colors. The smell of tires and gasoline was in the air. Car engines were babbling, some of them were roaring loudly - fighting for the first rank in the ‘Exhaust Sound Pressure Measurement Competition’ others demonstrated their impressive power in short ‘Burn Outs’.

The sight of the cars spoiled my eyes and the sound of the engines my ears. The scent of finest traditional Hungarian foods, which i couldn’t withstand, required the attention of my nose and my appetite. The youngest visitors had their fun in the bouncy castle, the mothers were talking and the others exchanged information and experiences about U.S. cars.

But what would be such an event without some Science Fiction, airbraush, a fashion show, and the famous 'Sexy Carwash'?

I got reminded to my childhood when i met with Yoda, Leia, Luke and more Jedi knights in peace with soldiers from the empire as we know them from Star Wars. I also met with another special guest: K.I.T.T, from Knight Rider. Yes, i met this wonderful car and its owner. K.I.T.T. – in elegant shiny black, with his famous allseeing red scanner – got high attention of many visitors, especially the kids.

An airbrush artist transformed a hood of a car into a fantastic artwork. Fashion designers presented their latest beautiful collections, from classically over extravagant to futuristic fashion. After this viually feast a huge US-PickUp got the pleasure of the 'Sex Carwash'. All this was accompanied by live music from "Elvis Presley" and other bands.

Overall, this day was really very entertaining and interesting and i’m excited for the 6th LurdyV8 :-)
