Ireland Should Implement The Hungarian Court’s Ruling, Minister Navracsics Says
Minister for Public Administration and Justice Tibor Navracsics said at a press briefing today that Ireland should be required to execute the ruling of the Hungarian court in the Tobin case, adding that the letter of EU Commissioner Viviane Reding clearly confirms that Hungary is right on this issue.

The Minister mentioned that Ireland had so far argued that it was not bound to implement the court ruling because it had not joined a related EU framework decision. Minister Navracsics also noted that the European Commission shares the Hungarian position.
