"Whatever image of the Devil you might conjure up, I doubt it is a dull one. So why, then, did director David Frankel decide to give us 105 minutes of dull and, sadly, largely drab, Hollywood nonsense?The Devil Wears Prada is based on Lauren Weisberger’s satirical novel of the same name and, although I must confess I haven’t read the book, I am willing to bet the dead tree version is far more fiendish and interesting than its screen incarnation."
