"(VI., Liszt Ferenc tér 8.) Undoubtedly among Budapest's loveliest concert halls, this has been called one of the greatest musical venues of the world. The rather daunting Historicism style of the exterior leaves many visitors unprepared for the ornate Art Nouveau interior.The walls and ceiling of the hall are intricately decorated in gold and green with elaborate details, including golden leaves that cover the ceiling and Nubian women on the supporting pillars. The works of many Hungarian master artisans can be found throughout the building in the foyers and the smaller concert hall as well."
