The First Book Printed in Hungary at National Széchényi Library |
"The first book in Hungary was printed in the workshop of Hess András in Budapest 1473. 20 years after the 42 line Bible of Gutenberg was finished, the first print shop opened in Hungary which is a considerable things in itself. Books printed in France, Holland and Italy only antedated the prints of Hess."
