How long does it take for the ADSL connection to become active?
The installation of the ADSL connection takes some time. We will notify you by SMS or on your e-mail address when your ADSL access becomes active. The provisions of the General Terms of Contract are decisive in the respect of ensuring the background of the ADSL service, but we will give you preliminary information on the expected length of installation time.
If the technical conditions are available, in the areas listed here the ADSL connection may become active within approximately 2 days of placing the order.
In the other areas, if the technical conditions are available, the ADSL connection will become active within approximately 5 days of placing the order.
If the provision of the ADSL service requires further technical assessment or development, the connection is expected to become active within 30 days of placing the order.

About the ADSL technology
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a technology that converts conventional telephone line to a high-speed digital line enabling fast internet access. Asymmetric refers to the differing rates of data communication in the two directions - the download rate that is important for most internet users is much higher than the upload rate that is little used.
This service is not available everywhere - T-Online Hungary can provide it at places where the contracted partner telecommunications service provider can provide ADSL access. A precondition to provision of this service is that the copper wire connecting to the telephone exchange may not be longer than 4.5 km, the exchange must be conditioned for the provision of ADSL service and must have free technical capacity.
