'After The End', Merlin Theater, 16 April

They try to live together in the tight space of the bunker, which is surprisingly comfortable and well-equipped for Louise. They try to handle their trauma, plan their future, get used to the other’s presence and kill time. After a couple of days their relationship becomes more and more strained. Though the tragedy and Louise’s gratitude settle the problems for a while, this impossible situation is turning into a nightmare.

After the End is a special blend of romantic comedies, psycho-thrillers and crime stories and has a perfect dramatical turn in the end. Dennis Kelly tells the story of the young couple in a very sensitive way, portraying their human frailties and their continuous fighting with each other in this increasingly claustrophobic environment.

After the End raises an issue of great importance, as we all live under the threat of a possible bomb attack nowadays. Dan Gingel, playing Mark, comes straight from the WestEnd, the female lead is Madeleine Joseph."
