"A 58-year old man became Hungary’s first artificial heart recipient at the Városmajor block of Semmelweis University on Friday.The patient, who suffers from myocardium dysfunction, was operated on for six hours by a team led by Semmelweis University Cardiology Centre director Béla Merkely. The Ft 7.5 million “Berlin Heart” procedure has given doctors an extra six months to find a real heart donor."
