"Having just graduated from college, a bee by the name of Barry B. Benson finds himself disillusioned with the prospect of having only one career choice – honey. As he ventures outside of the hive for the first time, he breaks one of the cardinal rules of the bee world and talks to a human, a New York City florist named Vanessa. He is shocked to discover that the humans have been stealing and eating the bees’ honey for centuries, and ultimately realizes that his true calling in life is to set the world right by suing the human race for stealing their precious honey.”
Movie type: Animated Comedy - As expected, "Bee Movie" is a cute, funny animated story for the whole family. It has humor for everyone and some humor just for the adults. The story pace is quick enough that it should retain the attention of fairly small children most of the time. Also, adults will not likely feel that it ever gets too silly or stupid.

Reviews:
”Above Average While it has value as a passable diversion, this is ultimately yet another disappointing animated feature in an every-widening pool of them.” Berardinelli, Internet Critic
”Average All of this material, written by Seinfeld and writers associated with his television series, tries hard, but never really takes off.” Roger Ebert
”Below Average Bee Movie is certainly not low-budget, but it has all the staying power and creative value of a B-movie. The secret life of bees, as told by Seinfeld, is a bore with a capital B.” USA Today
”Above Average Cute, ingratiating, crawling with celebrity voice talent, and steeped in cowriter, coproducer and star Jerry Seinfeld's New York-centric observational shtick, this candy-colored animated fable is an awkward mix of corny bee puns, clever sight gags, kid-friendly action, adult-centric workplace angst...” TV Guide Online
