"Roger Ferris uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. When Ferris devises a plan to infiltrate his network, he must first win the backing of cunning CIA veteran Ed Hoffman and the collegial, but perhaps suspect, head of Jordanian intelligence. Although ostensibly his allies, Ferris questions how far he can really trust these men without putting his entire operation - and his life - on the line."Movie type: Drama Thriller - This is a serious espionage drama that does not have as much action as the commercials may suggest. Fans of Russell Crowe may be disappointed by his fairly limited screen time. The talky nature of the film may appeal more to older adults, but the film's sometimes graphic violence may turn them off.

Reviews:
Xan Brooks : “Body of Lies is big and bombastic, confused and irritable - a 20th-century blockbuster struggling to adapt (too little, too late) to a 21st-century terrain.”
Nigel Andrews: “Visually the film is so undistinguished it may be time for the maker of Blade Runner to be subjected to that film’s Voigt-Kampff test, to determine whether the current owner of the name “Ridley Scott” is real or a replicant.”
Sukhdev Sandhu: “Scott, at heart, is a pyrotechnician rather than a political philosopher. Sometimes, during the scenes when he shows graphic acts of torture, he seems like a two-penny shock merchant, too.
