"The Budapest Spring Festival is continuing its successful series of Fringe festivals between March 28 and March 30 2008.A few interesting facts about what to expect when you visit the Budapest Fringe Festival on the last weekend of March:
There are altogether 223 acts from Budapest, 3 from abroad (London, Stuttgart, Senta) and 97 from elsewhere in Hungary (mostly larger towns, like Pécs, Szeged, Debrecen, or Miskolc and from around Budapest);
The total number of performers equals 2607;
323 performing groups present 224 hours of programme (444.5 hours including set-up and break-down);
There are 16 stages operating simultaneously, when all stages are used, but at the least 10 are always in operation;
The first performances begin at noon on Friday, the last ones at midnight on Sunday;
On the average, 4 performances start every hour, and 6 to 8 other performances are also in progress.
