"On 29th November the British International School of Budapest will once again be holding it’s Christmas Fayre. As usual this promises to be fun day out for the whole family. This annual event gets bigger every year, aiming to raise as much money as possible for Hungarian children’s charities.Last year’s Fayre enabled the Mária Molnár Care Home in Cegléd to build a new playground for disabled children. This year’s proceeds will go towards a new bus for the Care Home as well as towards a further two local charities.
The Fayre is a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping. There will be a festive Christmas Market with stalls selling gifts, cards and decorations, with something to for all the family.
Plenty of fun activities are planned. There will be a tombola, a silent auction, a lucky dip, a raffle, a cake stall, mince pies & mulled wine, and loads more besides.
Children of all ages can enjoy the Sweetie Room, get their nails and hair done in the Beauty Salon or decorate a ginger-bread man in the Craft Room. And most importantly, Santa will be in his Grotto waiting to see you!!
In the International Food Hall you can sample food from around the world including food from India, Korea and Hungary and, of course, some British favorites.
The Fayre runs from 11am-3pm on Saturday 29th November at the British School, Kiscelli Köz 17, 1037 Bp. Entry costs 600Ft on the day.
Advanced ticket sales available from 21st November at the British School or contact Alison Webster by clicking here .
Mark the date in your diary; it will be a great way to start your celebrations. Hope to see you there!!"
