'European Dog Show in Budapest', Hungexpo, 3 - 5 October |

 "The World Animal Day is celebrated on 4 October, and as part of that the largest European dog show will be held in Hungary - for the second time since 1996. The 9 Hungarian dog breeds will be on show, along with around 15 000 dogs in total.Programs will be held in a 60.000 square meter exhibition hall, and in the 50.000 square meter area around it.
Exhibitors: apart from the large number of Hungarian exhibitors dog breeders will arrive from the whole of Europe. Trade programs: - Europe Dog Show - International Cat Show - Small Animal Show (birds and rodents) - Horse Show and Parade Other Programs: - Sport- and skill dog shows: dog-dancing, agility, frisbee, shepherding, guard dogs, rescue dogs, police dog show - Club Exhibitions of the 48 breeders’ clubs of the Hungarian Kennel Club - Special Breeds Exhibition
- World exhibitions of several breeds - Horse shows: in the saddle or in the coach-box - Spectacular fashion show of designer Tamás Náray with dogs - Entertaining hobby- and game programs
- Without a lead: the written and unwritten laws of keeping animals – informative lectures for small and older animal owners in order to promote responsible ownership, with the supervision of the Animal Protection department of the Association of Hungarian Journalists
