Gyurcsány In Prague For Talks On Crisis
"Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány flew into Prague on Thursday evening for talks with his Czech counterpart Mirek Topolanek.

The pair looked at measures taken to counter the current global financial crisis and discussed energy policy and climate protection. The visit assumes significance as the Czech Republic will hold the rotating EU presidency from January.

Gyurcsány will fly on to Belgrade this morning for talks with Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and President Boris Tadic on Belgrade’s “Euro Atlantic integration” aspirations, which Hungary supports, as well as co-operation between the two states and ways of stimulating economic relations. Gyurcsány is also scheduled to meet ethnic Hungarian representatives in Voivodina."
