Hungarian Artists Included In Jeune Création Européenne

Hungarian Artists Included In Jeune Création Européenne
"Works by five young Hungarian artists will be shown as part of the Jeune Création Européenne, a travelling exhibition of European artists starting out their careers.

Katalin Gesztesi, Andrea Schneemeier, Gábor Szenteleki, Edit Szilvásy and Szilvia Takács were chosen to participate in the exhibition by the Paris-based art historian Sári Stenczer.

Their works will be shown with those of other young artists in Montrouge, on the outskirts of Paris, starting September 21. Afterward, the exhibition will travel to Klaipeda (Lithuania), Salzburg, Genoa, Barcelona and Amarante (Portugal), staying for two months in each location. Several tens of thousands of visitors are expected to see the exhibition.
The exhibition is comprised of a single work or series of works by around ten artists from each partner country. Only artists who still do not have any attachment to a gallery are chosen."
