"The Health Ministry is allocating Ft 70 million for construction of a helicopter station in Szentes, northeast Hungary, Minister Ágnes Horváth announced on Monday.The additional Ft 20-30 million required will be provided by local authorities in the region.
In six months, rescue helicopters will be able to take off from Szentes to accidents throughout the southern puszta. State-owned Légimentő operates eight rescue helicopters and six air bases in Sármellék, Balatonfüred, Pécs, Budaörs, Miskolc and Debrecen, but the Szentes pad is needed to cover the entire country."
