New Music Forum 2009 Composer Competition

The competition is open to any composer claiming to be Hungarian who is under 40 years of age at the time of submitting their work for the competition. The primary goal of the founders of the competition and the prize offerers is to encourage and support the creation of new Hungarian music compositions. They also consider it desirable that permanent cooperation be established between young composers on the one hand and chamber ensembles and orchestras on the other hand in popularising new music. 

Applications can be submitted in the categories of works for orchestras and for chamber ensembles, under the conditions listed in the specifications.
