"ORCO Property Group appointed András Kovács Regional Leasing Director of the group on Monday. In his role he will be responsible for leasing ORCO properties across the Central and Eastern European region.András Kovács has almost 10 years' experience in the real estate market, and in his new position he will be able to contribute to the growth and development of the company recently listed on the Budapest and Warsaw stock exchanges.
András Kovács took up his position with effect from 11 September 2007, based in Hungary. He will initially focus on establishing a strong leasing team for the Hungarian business. In the past eight years Kovács worked for Tesco and took part in managing the real estate market activity of the company.
Kovács acquired his first Diploma of Economics together with a Diploma of Marketing Communication at the International Business School of Budapest. He also studied law at Pázmány Péter University. At the moment he is enrolled at the Nottingham Trent University in order to become a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors."
