'Pálinka & Sausage Festival', Buda Castle, 10 - 12 October
"The Savoyan Terrace of the Buda Castle, one of the capital's most spectacular places will be the venue of the Palinka and Sausage Festival.

The Hungarian Palinka Marketing non profit organization created this major cultural and gastronomical event not only to uphold traditions, but also to acquaint them with our national and international visitors and guests. The festival is an excellent opportunity to discover the world of Hungarian palinkas and sausages and their centuries old traditions and exceptional recipes.

Secret ingredients and special preparing make these products not only unique but also class them among the world’s premium brands.

During the festival our guests can become familiar with the ingredients, spices and moves that together make up the traditional sausages of Gyula and Bekes, and acquire the knowledge of choosing original and good-quality products. As for those coming only to enjoy the different flavours we send the Hungarian saying: “Little talk and a long sausage will do you good.”
