"A new body to develop extensive reform program established, backed by businessman Sándor Demján. The chairmen of the nine members of National Council for the Reconciliation of Interests, the chairman of Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) and the previous and present chairmen of Hungarian Science Academy (MTA) established the Reform Association.The Reform Association aims to develop an extensive reform program that can be integrated into the social and economic policy of 2009-2013 term. The program would help in closing the gap between the living standard, the wages and the economic performance of Hungary and the European Union, said József Pálinkás, chairman of the Hungarian Science Academy.
The association intends to win over the main political forces and the media as the main task of economic and scientific cooperation is to work out the essential reforms in a way that is acceptable for the society and implementable by the politicians, added Ferenc Glatz former MTA chairman.
Sándor Demján, chairman of National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employer provides the financial support for the Reform Association, said László Parragh chairman of MKIK."
