Rumour Sends Forint To 15-Month Low |
"The forint sank to a 15-month low against the euro on Wednesday following rumours that Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány and Finance Minister János Veres were to resign. Government spokesman Dávid Daróczi categorically denied these rumours, calling them absurd. The forint fell towards 264 per euro before recovering somewhat.
