VirusBuster Gets "Trojan Checkmark" Certificate |
"VirusBuster Professional, the recognized vendor's flagship anti-virus product received the "Trojan Checkmark" certificate from leading independent testing organization West Coast Labs.
"Checkmark" tests and the related certificates are considered one of the world's foremost certification programs in the field of information security. Developed by U.K.-based West Coast Labs (http://www.westcoastlabs.org/), an independent organization, "Checkmark" has become a leading brand in the U.S. and a de facto standard in Europe and Asia Pacific. Products are tested to real-world standards, which are continuously developed to reflect technology advances.
"Checkmark" testing is performed in several categories. For a product to be certified to the "Trojan Checkmark", it must be able to detect all trojans in West Coast Labs' regularly updated trojan test suite, and it should not cause any false alarms when tested against the organization's false alarm test suite.
Now VirusBuster Professional, VirusBuster's flagship anti-virus product for the Windows XP Professional platform, successfully passed this tough test.
