During the course of the years, this Hungary-based specialist of IT security has not only performed well in its home market, but has gained international reputation. VirusBuster's products, which crossed the Hungarian boarder no more than 5 years ago, are now sold in 32 countries. Their quality has been certified by market independent organizations of worldwide recognition. The company has established cooperation with several multinational giants of the IT industry, including Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Novell and Sun, and it has partnered with IT security leaders Balabit and Commtouch.
"We thought the best way to celebrate our 10th birthday would be to invite our customers and business partners to an expert conference and a party", says VirusBuster's owner and CEO Julianna Bozsó. "Participants could have an overview of the market's past ten years, and we could also tap into the future of security technology."
The event, opened by Julianna Bozsó, was held at Budapest's elegant SAS Béke Radisson Hotel. The audience could listen to presentations on the prehistory of viruses (told by VirusBuster's development manager Szilárd Stange), and on IT security between 1996 and today (by virus lab head Gábor Szappanos). Industry trends have been analyzed by director of research Péter Agócs and product manager Dániel Székely.
