Hungary’s jobless rate was 4.4% in March, down from 4.6% in February, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said. The rate covers unemployment among people between the ages of 15 and 74. In absolute terms, there were 217,200 unemployed in March, 9,700 fewer than in February and 22,200 more than twelve months earlier.

The government is negotiating the details, Varga said, adding that the plan is in harmony with the government’s Jedlik e-mobility project.
