We are pleased to inform you that the basement of Central Market Hall has been renewed. The primary goal of the program of improvement was the introduction of quality Hungarian products that can be found and bought there. In the Avenue of Hungaricums you can also see the world famous scientific invention of Gabor Domokos and Peter Varkonyi, the Gömböc (Gomboc).

Hungarian football's second division seems close at hand for Vác FC, owned by expat John P Marshall, who is aiming for back to back promotions. Vác recently took a huge step towards moving up to the second division (NB II) by beating Monori SE 6-0 on May 23 in an action-packed home match with over 500 enthusiastic fans, who contributed to this outstanding final score.

The 15 year-old Pal Frenak Company presented its performance entitled Tricks & Tracks in 1999. The basic concept of this legendary and groundbreaking production still has not lost its timeliness. In the spring of 2014 past will meet present. The company draws new lines and signs on the blank surface, while past is not forgotten, but rethought.
