The aircraft entered Slovak air space without contacting Slovak air control. The pilots still did not get in touch with Slovak air control after Slovak fighter planes intercepted the plane.

Two people were killed when two glider planes collided in mid-air near Esztergom around noon Sunday for hitherto unclear reasons. One of the gliders crashed, killing its two occupants. The student piloting the other glider managed to make an emergency landing and was not injured.
