Have you ever wondered why most African dances have a low body posture and why songs accompany most of the African dances? Have you ever hoped to learn an African traditional dance but never had the opportunity? Then don’t miss DI ASA dance workshop.

The workshop comprises of an educative discussion on the basic and golden rules that runs through all African dances with focus on the Ghanaian Traditional Dance forms.

There will also be a practical and interactive dance session where participants will be introduced to two Ghanaian traditional dances. The dance workshop will also have a warm up session with movements from the Ghanaian popular dances style (AZONTO).

The workshop is free of charge but requires prior registration.
