Award Ceremony & Gala Of Bartók World Composers Competition
Live stream of the Award Ceremony and Gala Concert of the Bartók World Composer Competition, which attracted a record number of candidates all over the world.

All the excitement of so many months will be condensed in the Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy of Music 28 November. The pre-selection jury, chaired by Gyula Fekete, selected 17 compositions out of the record number of 348 valid applications, that advanced to the next stage. The international jury had choosed the 3 winner pieces and four more for honorable mention.

Program of the Gala Concert:
Kökény String Quartet: Eszter Kökény, Csenge Dósa (violin), Fülöp Görbicz (viola), Máté Tomasz (cello)
- Beethoven: String Quartet No. 1 in F major, Op. 18/1 – 1. Allegro con brio

- Third prize winning string quartet
Kállai String Quartet (Ernő Kállai, Géza Szajkó (violin); Kálmán Dráfi (viola); István Balázs (cello)
- Haydn: String Quartet No. 62 in C major, Hob. IIII:77 (ʻEmperorʼ) – 4. Finale. Presto

- Second prize winning string quartet
Korossy String Quartet: Csongor Korossy-Khayll, Kristóf Tóth (violin), Éva Osztrosits (viola), Gergely Devich (cello)
- Bartók: String Quartet No. 3, BB 93

- First prize winning string quartet
