Grand Opening of Q Contemporary Art Center in Budapest, 21 September
Organisers are pleased to announce that Budapest based Q Contemporary will open its doors to the public on Andrássy Avenue on Tuesday 21 September at noon.

The contemporary art center promoting Central and Eastern European art welcomes its visitors with two exhibitions: at our opening exhibition XY_now, Q_now, the audience can get to know the emblematic works of the X and Y generations of the Central and Eastern European region, while the exhibition of this year’s Leopold Bloom Art Award will also be on display in our building.

Q Contemporary’s inaugural exhibition, XY_now, Q_now features emblematic works from artists of the last, so-called Generation Y or Millennials of the 20th century, as well as of the preceding Generation X, living and working in the Central Eastern European region.

Most of the exhibited works represent the collection of Q Contemporary, complemented by works of five young artists with whom the institution seeks closer collaboration in the future.
Place: Q Contemporary Art Center
Address: 1062 Budapest, Andrássy út 110.
