Nationwide Street Art Competition
Now on until 15 September. A nation-wide competition for street artists is organized in ten major Hungarian cities until 15 September. It is open to anyone who fancies convincing the public of their street art talents, with winners selected based on votes of audiences at each venue.

After local heats in the participating cities, the best street artists will get the chance to show off their talents again in the capital next May, where it will be decided who are the best street artists in Hungary.

The competition is the first of its kind in the country. There are no set categories in the Street Art Show, which expects to welcome dancers, "living sculptures," painters and street musicians alike - or anyone that has a creative talent they wish to show on the street.

The participating cities are Szekszárd, Eger, Nyíregyháza, Győr, Sopron, Szombathely, Tatabánya, Miskolc, Debrecen, and Budapest.

Competitors will also be assessed by a professional jury, who will hand out three special prizes, for the most tenacious, most spectacular, and best under-14 shows.

Most stops on the tour will also be accompanied by food trucks, offering bystanders street food to go with their street art experience.
