The National Bank of Hungary will mark the 100th anniversary of its founding with special events and publications in 2024, the bank said on Tuesday.
The annual consumer price index could fall below 6% by the end of the year, the disinflationary trend that started in 2023 will continue early next year and inflation will return to the central bank’s tolerance band in 2025, András Balatoni, a central bank director, told a press conference, presenting the National Bank of Hungary’s December Inflation Report.
The National Bank of Hungary has blocked the websites of Falcon Kereskedőház and Falcon Benefit and frozen accounts used in a suspected pyramid scheme, the central bank and financial market regulator said.
