'Highest-Risk Individuals' in Hungary Required to Declare Assets Published Online
The Integrity Authority has published the list of individuals classified as highest risk among those required to submit asset declarations, on its website on Thursday, 1 October.

.According to information provided on the organisation's website, the current list covers only those individuals required to submit public-asset declarations who do not hold the position of mayor or local government representative.

The risk level for this group of individuals is determined through an indicator-based assessment.

This process involves evaluating data from publicly accessible asset declarations, as well as other public and officially authenticated data included under the methodology, against predefined risk indicators, the website said.

Mayors and local government representatives are not included in this list, as they are required to complete asset declaration forms that differ in content and structure.

According to the authority, the risk classification does not imply a finding of any violation regarding asset declarations; it serves solely to determine audit priorities.

The list includes former Prime Ministers Ferenc Gyurcsany and Viktor Orban, as well as current Prime Minister Peter Magyar, along with a number of former and incumbent ministers, members of parliament, and heads of state agencies.
