"We arranged a screening of the new Bond film, Skyfall, last week. On the same day it premiered here in Budapest. And we invited our closest contacts and friends to share the evening with us. It was great to see members of government, politicians, people from ministries, NGOs and just friends of the Embassy relaxing at the movies.

The construction of Metro line 4 is currently the biggest construction project in Central Europe. M4, or the green line of Budapest Metro, has already experienced one or two delays, and recently Budapest Mayor István Tarlós said it may be postponed until 2016. However according to paperwork put through by Budapest's City Assembly last Wednesday, the completion deadline is now Spring of next year. ...

Budapest Airport: Terminal 1 Converted Into An Event Center

Terminal 1 at Budapest Airport has reopened, four months after its closure, after an event center has been established in the empty passenger terminal. As previously envisaged, Budapest Airport decided to maintain the condition of the valuable building, which will thus be put to use once again. The Terminal 1 Airport Event Center will host corporate and private events as of 1 October.
