Tucked away down a side street off the tourist-popular Ráday Street, Green Sheep Bar is a cozy little basement bar and a great place to stop for a few after dinner. Founded by a local entrepreneur with a long history at other breweries, it only opened in late 2015 and is still finding its feet in the Budapest craft beer scene.

Last weekend we ventured out into the north-east region of Hungary and visited the beautiful city of Eger. The City of Eger is over a thousand years old, with its glorious historical past, valuable historical building complexes, wines and curative waters is one of the most famous cities of Hungary. It was a bishop's seat as early as during the reign of our first king, Szent István.

The biggest wine event in the Region was held at The Corinthia Hotel, between 3 and 5 March. It Started on Thursday with a “professional day”, and then opened its doors for connoisseurs on Friday and Saturday. You could sign up for an Organic Wine Tour on VinCE Budapest and find out what makes a wine “bio” and many more exciting wine related things to do.
