I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, went to live in the States at 6 months old, came back to Portugal around 4/5, went to live in Belgium when I was 9, finished my International Baccalaureate at the European School there, did a degree in social psychology in the Uk, followed by another degree in clinical psychology in Lisbon when I moved back in 1998.

Mr. Sameer Hamdan and Mr. Zuhair Awad are the owners and general managers of the Mellow Mood Group. Their hotel portfolio consists of 13 hotels in Budapest - from hostels to 5-star hotels, and in Vienna one 4-star Fashion Hotel.

Miguel left his home country – Portugal - at the age of 20 to go to England and study Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management at the City of London College. During the second year of the same course Miguel was lucky enough to find what he believes is his vocation in one cooking class.
