Hungarian institutes abroad are featuring over 50 events over the next half year, including exhibitions, concerts and book fair events, a deputy state secretary of the foreign ministry said. The Hungarian Academy in Rome is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, Judit Hammerstein, who also heads the Balassi Institute that operates the Hungarian institutes abroad, noted.

The bridge connecting South Buda and South Pest was originally called Horthy Miklós Bridge, but it was renamed to Petőfi Bridge after WWII.
