The book “Touching the Memory of the Body” discusses a new method of healing through craniosacral therapy, introducing a new proposal in the field of mental health.
Craniosacral therapy is a somatic therapy that has been developed in different ways around the world.
Sevastiana Koutroumpanou, the author of this book, has developed craniosacral therapy in a new way; she has implemented non-directive therapeutic dialogue during the therapy, emphasizing the awakening of the body's memory.
In this way, the therapy has evolved into a deep somatic psychotherapy, which can retrieve repressed memories and thus lead to the healing of trauma, psychosomatic and mental disorders.
The book presents real stories of how people have healed through this method.
It is written in simple, vivid language and is suitable for both mental health professionals and non-professional psychology enthusiasts.
During the presentation we will have the opportunity to discuss in more detail how the therapy works through this approach.
