Nora Brown & Stephanie Coleman, House Of Hungarian Music Budapest, 31 July
Nora Brown, a banjo player, and Stephanie Coleman, a violinist, first appeared as a duo on the Brooklyn folk scene in 2017.

Since then, they have frequently performed together, recorded a popular Tiny Desk session, and released a joint EP in 2023 titled "Lady Of The Lake."

They will now present this EP in Hungary at the House of Music's Outdoor Stage in a free concert.

Nora Brown has been dedicated to showcasing traditional American folk music from the Appalachian Mountains since she was six years old. She has released three solo albums, all of which have performed well on the American bluegrass charts, in addition to her 2023 collaborative EP with Stephanie Coleman.

Over the past two decades, Coleman has recorded and toured with renowned artists, including the ground-breaking all-female string band, Uncle Earl.

The collaboration between Nora Brown and Stephanie Coleman can also be heard on Brown's debut album, "Cinnamon Tree," released in 2019. This evening will feature authentic traditional American melodies in the rarely heard Appalachian folk style, interpreted by two great talents.
Place: House Of Hungarian Music Budapest
