The Montreux Trio, Eiffel Art Studios Budapest, 5 May
In 2015, three young Hungarian pianists made history by reaching the top 10 at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival Piano Competition — a feat never achieved before or since.

A decade later, these exceptional musicians — Mátyás Gayer, Krisztián Oláh, and Áron Tálas — reunite on stage, even performing simultaneously on three pianos.

The rhythm section will be just as extraordinary: on double bass, Irish-born Conor Chaplin, known for playing with Billy Cobham, Keyon Harrold, Kit Downes, Jacob Collier, and Bobo Stenson. On drums, American jazz great Gregory Hutchinson, whose credits include Roy Hargrove, Ray Brown, Joe Henderson, Joshua Redman, Diana Krall, and John Scofield, among others.
Place: Eiffel Art Studios Budapest
Address: 1101 Budapest, Kőbányai út 30
