At 17.00 p.m., a Holy Mass will be celebrated and the Procession of the Holy Right Hand will be led by Cardinal Péter Erdő, Archbishop of Esztergom and Budapest, Metropolitan.

Since 20 August 1990, state and church events have been commemorating the founder of the state, King Saint Stephen. The church celebrations in Budapest will include a mass in St. Stephen's Basilica followed by the Procession of the Holy Right Hand.
