The members of the Eastern Boundary Trio are masters of improvisation. They play their own compositions accompanied by free improvisations, in which musical ideas engage in a dialogue transcending borders and boundaries, forged into unity by the power of improvisation.

Joe Fonda is a prominent figure on the New York avant-garde scene, who has played in various bands with Anthony Braxton and Dave Douglas, among others, and is also a member of numerous American and European music workshops. This time, he is working in a trio with Mihály Borbély and Balázs Bágyi, renowned artists of the Hungarian and international jazz scene.
